City Adventures

Soak up the urban energy of Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, or stroll the quaint, character-rich downtowns and neighborhoods of cities like Annapolis and Arlington. Great American Road Trip

Bordered by the Appalachian Mountains to the west and the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Capital Region offers many ways to enjoy nature. Shopping

A major U.S. shopping hub, the Capital Region is known for designer fashions as well as big bargains. The D.C. metropolitan region is home to many large, upscale shopping malls, while both Virginia and Maryland offer outlet malls featuring discounts on big-name brands. Many cities are filled with luxury boutiques, eclectic shops and antiques stores.

Wine and Cuisine

Celebrate the region’s unique culinary culture, which fuses international cuisine, fresh seafood (especially crab and oysters) and the rich flavors of the Southern USA at award-winning eateries, including more than 100 Michelin-rated restaurants.
