Venture to Grand Mesa National Forest, where the world’s largest flat-top mountain glistens with over 300 freshwater alpine lakes. With an elevation of over 3,000 meters, Grand Mesa is a year-round paradise for the outdoorsy. Just 45 minutes from Grand Junction, Grand Mesa National Forest offers unforgettable sights to those looking to recreate and relax on this large mountaintop paradise. Travel 30 minutes west of Grand Junction to explore Rattlesnake Arches, the second-largest concentration of natural arches in the world.
