Natural works of art beckoning to be explored
An incredible red rock wonderland, Arches National Park in eastern Utah (just outside the sporty town of Moab) is unlike any other park in the world. Years of wind and rain has shaped the area’s rust-hued rocks into more than 2,000 natural archways.
Thanks to its warm desert climate, Arches National Park is a great place to visit year-round. From biking to backpacking and hiking to horseback riding, there’s an endless array of things to do in Arches. However, one of the best ways to absorb the gorgeous vistas is to sit amongst the rocks and watch the sun set. If you can, follow the trail to the famous Delicate Arch in the late afternoon to catch the scene for which Arches National Park is renowned.
